During our eighteen years of using the Matrix II on difficult human fractures the patients have observed and we concur that these pulsed low-level fields have remarkable anti-inflammatory properties. The pain goes away and the swelling goes down and this all happens quickly.

Our most impressive experience with pain reduction was within our study of artificial hips. In this study, eighteen men and women who were scheduled to have their artificial hips replaced because they had grown loose and painful agreed to use the Matrix II for the months before their date with the surgeon. Twelve of the eighteen became pain-free within three months and avoided surgery.

Many other researchers have made similar observations. In a recent meta-analysis of the controlled clinical trials that used pulsed electromagnetic fields, the authors found a positive outcome in a wide variety of conditions, including all manner of inflammatory problems.

The mechanism of this soft pulsing of the cells with subtle energy to trigger activity remains elusive, but the long lasting results appear undeniable. The Matrix II promotes healing, unlike TENS or other EMS devices which temporarily hide the pain.

We remain convinced of the benefit of this treatment and are confident in offering the Matrix II as an anti-inflammatory solution for localized conditions.
